Kamikaze Momentum Finally Halted

X-League Sunday Prime League Season 1 Division 2
Team Kamikaze vs La Forza @ Turf City

The momentum looked unstoppable as Kamikaze Seniors had chalked up 28 goals in just 4 games and were looking to virtually sew up the title with a win over their closest challengers La Forza. However, La Forza had plans of their own as they counter-attacked from the first whistle and made Kamikaze pay for its relentless attacks with 3 excellent counter-attacking goals in the firsthalf to get an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Kamikaze fought back valiantly, but even 2 late goals from Pratheep and Safar could not stop the team losing their first match of the season. The momentum now has swung back to La Forza who lead the table by 6 points, albeit having played 2 matches more.

Kamikaze, who a week ago looked like they were running away with the title, are now under tremendous pressure to win their remaining 3 games and hope that they can chalk up goals along the way to improve their Goal Difference tally.

This team has made it second nature to make things difficult for themselves, and now the time has come for Kamikaze to prove what they are made of.
